Silent Fires
by Poojitha G Prasad
Silent fires by Poojitha Prasad is a crime thriller full of turns and twists.
The story starts with the mysterious disappearance of Sharvya Chandra wife of a celebrity film star Arun Chandra. The case gets handover to the inspector Ashish who has an intuitive ability to solve cases. His brother Manav who is poles apart from his brother and a crime documentary maker also urge to solve the case. In solving this case there are many theories involved, ego clashes, and dynamics of relationship explored. Though there is a mystery element in the read, it also portrays two different personalities and their different perspective for the same case. And I am sure the story of Sharvya will shock the readers.
For me, this is a crime mystery that has a steady plot with clear-cut prose. The narrative is expressive, making it easy for me to connect with the emotions of the character. There are enough events to keep you guessing the conclusion. Overall, this is a highly recommended book to thriller readers.
