๐Ÿง  My thoughts
I liked the depth of this story compared to some other ones Iโ€™ve read from Junji Ito. The historical elements as well as the descriptions of the horror elements were very nice to read.

However, the ending left me hanging and disappointed. Iโ€™m a fan of the opening ending because usually, the endings have some deep meanings that make you think. But this ending purely just made me feel like there should be more to the story but the author just decided to stop there.

๐Ÿ‘ What I like
  • The story has depth
  • Good descriptions

๐Ÿ‘Ž What I don't like
  • Empty open ending
  • Feels like there should be more to the story but the author just decided to stop there
