Thor: Latverian Prometheus by Ryan Stegman, David Aja, Billy Tan, Kieron Gillen, Kelly Sue DeConnick, Stan Lee, Chris Giarrusso

5.0

This was a lucky find, since I found it in a second hand shop and picked it up. I have grown to love Thor the way Gillen and J. Michael Strazinski write him and this was a perfect continuation of the other Thor volumes I have picked up. As always, Thor is noble, a warrior and someone you want to have at your back. He is also respected by Balder, despite being exiled and no longer the king. I like the healthy brotherly dynamic here and also how Thor is respected not just because of his age, but because he has something to bring to the table.

He's not painted as clever, but he has heart and that is why he and Captain America are my favourites. They make their mistakes, but overall, they have good intentions.
