First things first, I think I preferred this book way more than the first - Scythe. Scythe was more a bout setting the world, hence I found the beginning a bit slow. However, this ones pace was high from the very beginning. There were plot twists and turns everywhere and every page was just as unpredictable as the next. The ending was amazing, but has also left me with many more questions.
I felt a bit unresolved in terms of Scythe Anastasia and Scythe Lucifers relationship, but I also understand that this isn’t what this book is about (even if my inner romantic is screaming haha). I did thoroughly enjoy their character development though, especially as they found their own way to a moral compass.
I can’t wait until the next book (at least I hope there’s more!!).
