I was completely immersed in the writing- it pulled me out of my month long reading slump
The focus on characters and seeing what led them to make such selfish/hurtful/terrible choices and the tragedy that befell them
The focus on identity, culture, love, and family
I adored the focus on modern day science and how it complemented Mary Shelley's original work perfectly!!!
