A truly epic saga! Once again, John Gwynne delivers a tale of great stakes and wonderful characters. They are complex and driven, wether by revenge, passion or by the will to have sagas sung about them and earn battle fame.

I particularly appreciated following a mother character, which is always interesting to see (and she is really incredible!) As well as the feature of Norse lore and mythology, which was super immersive! I cannot wait to pick up the sequel!
