This book was so heartbreakingly beautiful and so sweet at the same time. I loved all the little quirks it possessed and how the characters were such complex beings they felt 3D. It was definitely on the slower end and took me a long time to read but it was  so worth it. The only reason I can’t give it 5 stars was the minor bookslump it put me in, thought that made the ending all the more bittersweet❤️. Highly recommend to anyone who likes Japanese fiction or philosophy
