Court of Ravens and Ruin
by Eliza Raine
A better start to the fae world
3/5 ⭐️
▪️Quick paced with something lurking at every turn. Unfortunately the fae lore has repetitive points, but to the author’S credit, they did a good job at adding unique elements.
▪️ The lead girl was a little too abrasive for my taste, felt a little tropey but not the worst I’ve seen.
▪️Another down point is the fast nature of it sometimes feels like our lead is going into crazy scenario one after the other, less suspenseful if you will.
▪️Spice level is mild, one true s**x scene but felt like more of a teaser for next books to come.
▪️Over all, fun read and will definitely be reading the next in the series which is more than i could say after reading acotar.
