Gods and Ends by Devon Monk

5.0

I will read pretty much anything and everything that Devon Monk writes. And I am really glad she writes this series. It's such a neat premise of a town where gods and all sorts of paranormal/supernatural beings can vacation so long as said gods hand in their powers for the duration of their stay. There are humans who are aware of the supernatural beings and others who are blissfully unaware.
The Reed family are charged with keeping the peace and being the bridge for the gods to turn in their powers for their stay in Ordinary. It's a big job for the three remaing Reeds, three sisters.
Now Delaney, the police chief Reed, has decisions to make to protect her town and get a kidnapped resident returned. A new demon in town, knitters and crocheters clubs [I really love their acronym names] getting ready to rumble, how to take out a very old vampire.
I love that this series is lighthearted as much as it is suspenseful. Wonderful characters and a town I'd love to visit or live in.
I absolutely can recommend this book, series and author.
