This was a rollercoaster of a read.

Poppy Wilson and Walker James were besties and childhood friend. They grew up in the same bad neighborhood where..lets just say it was not safe. An incident in their teens, Walkers parents dying and he blames Poppy. This resulted on Walker getting out of the bad neighborhood and staying with his uncle who has money.

We are now in college and Walker is the new center for Brooks. He is close to where he grew up and is wondering if he will see Poppy. Well, he does. She is a dancer for Brooks. If you read the other books you know there is a Hockey Player / Dancer match up for a fundraiser and they are both part taking. With this fundraiser, its the catalyst to get them to run into each other. They try to keep how they know each other a secret but this does not last.

This read quickly turns from an childhood besties-enemies to lovers when Walker finds Poppy hurt. Truths are told and they are able to set aside the past, for the most part. His lover for Poppy is seen in everything he does for her.

I truly had no idea where this book was going to go and I was absorbed in it. Hannah did such an amazing job with the story line. I loved how while you were reading Poppy and Walker's story, you also get to see the other Puck Boys and their significate others. This book had emotion and it delt with some heavy topics. I am glad to see that Walker and Poppy were able to come out of it together. They were truly each others soulmates. This was truly a great end to the Puck Boys.
