This definitely lived up to the hype for me.
I figured out the big twist fairly early on, but that was due to procrastinating on this read for so long that I had a few spoilers. However, the swerves and turns kept me completely invested, and the way Frieda flushes out her characters makes it feel like they could jump off the page and.. I don't know.. lock you in an attic.
