They Fell from the Sky by Chris Sanchez, Liezl Buenaventura

A quick sci-fi read perfect for a middle grade audience. I found it slightly confusing at times and feel like we didn’t learn much about the characters other than they’re big sci-fi fans - your typical unpopular nerds. I feel like a bit more time with the main characters was much needed, to bring this graphic novel to the next level.
The artwork was fun and reminded me of a Nickelodeon show, and the storyline was quite simple but effective. The Ker (alien creatures) were interesting, but again I feel like we didn’t really learn much about their situation or culture.
Overall I enjoyed my time with this graphic novel, but it would have hit the next level with a bit more fleshing out.
