I did not particularly enjoy this book - I really love critical role, and the cast of campaign two, but reading this and knowing how the story would end I was aware of the body horror that would show up and to be honest, that sort of stuff makes me really sick to my stomach. Its incredibly hard for me to read or listen to and I struggled with it through the campaign as well. I enjoyed the start of the book way more than I did the rest. I could have just learned about Luciens past and been much happier with this than I was with how it is now.
