3.5 stars. FINALLY done.. this book was SO slow and so boring. Of course, it had it’s moments and I give the last 20% of the book 5 stars. But the rest of the book was a solid 3. It could have been half the size. It was so repetitive. And so much political talk that didn’t even matter! Like honestly... maybe four chapters of politics and schemes.. not 70% of the book. And I get the point of that was to build this story but most of it we honestly didn’t need to know. I spent most of the time wondering why I even need to read all of this instead of thinking oh I wonder when this will make sense. Again, the last 20% was amazing, but I struggled during most of the book.
