Everyone In My Family Has Killed Someone by Benjamin Stevenson
3.0
Actual rating: 3.5 ⭐
It was nice for a cozy mystery. Would be more funny yet thrilling if the writer had given less shit about descriptions of the place (which, in the end, didn't really contribute to the whole story at all).
But I kind of like how the whole mystery stacked? The fucked up things The Cunninghams did sounds a bit like my family's doing too (fortunately, none of us had killed anyone and let's hope we would never have to kill anyone). It was totally complex, just like how everything that starts in the family's past turned out to be. At some point everything was a bit boring, but in the end, everything made sense. A bit hazy on some parts, though. Would like to re-read it in the future to give myself a better understanding.
Not going to lie, but the Erin and Michael thing gave me the biggest ICK ever. I mean, how could you fuck someone who've fucked your own sibling?

Also, it would be better if Ernest and Juliette had more in-depth chemistry alongside the whole story....Not going to lie, but the Erin and Michael thing gave me the biggest ICK ever. I mean, how could you fuck someone who've fucked your own sibling?
