King Liam, First of His Name: A Short Story from the Universe of Accidental Intelligence by Bryan Chaffin, Bryan Chaffin

5.0

This is a fun short story. Liam is quite likeable and the ideas around how belters (miners) fit into the world are quite interesting.

It ends in a rather steep cliffhanger though, but the story serves as a good entry point into the wider universe which the author expands upon in his other books.
