I found this novel so imaginative and original. I loved the premise and many things about the book and mind eaters.
For some reason though, this just never fully…clicked for me. I liked it but didn’t end up loving it.
I wish the mythology of The Creator and their whole backstory had been worked through more, but it’s just left on the sidelines. There were other side plot points that felt like they didn’t fully add up.
I liked the characters, but never felt fully invested in them. Idk I can’t really describe why I just didn’t love this one. I still think it’s a good story and would recommend it, but unfortunately it’s only a 3.5 star read for me.
