Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

3.5

I had a good time reading Pride and Prejudice, but my enjoyment was lessened by me not having the knowledgeable to fully parse the writing, especially the tone of some conversations. At some points I could not determine if something was said with sarcasm or sincerity. Also, the perspective did cause me some trouble, with how it was focused on Elizabeth, but commenting on what other people were feeling occasionally. It lent the book the air of an incident report.
