People always talk about romance novels its about Emily Henry, Abby Jimenez, Ali Hazelwood and the others that are popular online and not many people talk about Mhairi McFarlane but I love her books too.
When we first meet Edie Thompson she is attending a work colleagues wedding where the groom kisses her and the bride catches them mid kiss. Since the aftermath would affect her work her boss allows her to go home to Nottingham and interview an actor Elliot Owen.
And her boss told her not to date the client. Being home with her Dad and Sister and past struggles from her family and she also has regular falling outs with her sister. Can she do the project and not fall in love with the client and get back to London but she will find out who she is and who she can rely on.
I loved the way the book was written and I loved Edie and Elliot and I am glad we have another book where we can see what happens.
