I was bored.
Declan and Daisy were honestly my favorite characters, and I wish we would've had more of them. I did enjoy the twist regarding who El and Ezra's dad was and the connection to Ryan, but, I wish that it had come out sooner so we could've had more time really delving into their dynamic.
The mystery itself was fine. I didn't guess the killer, but I wasn't all that overly invested in trying to guess who it was either. And the ending was way too rushed; there were definitely a few random scenes in the book that could've been cut to give the ending more room to breathe.
Lastly, the romance. I liked El & Malcom, and I'm glad they ended up together, but again, I just wasn't overly invested.
