what a ride!!!!!! a nonfic recount of the beanie baby craze that sometimes feels like a comedy bit because how did this happen???? LMAO
almost tiger king-esque in the way that this eccentric cult-like CEO managed to do all this (with special thanks to the moms of chicago who started the BBB [beanie baby boom]) also gotta give him credit for only wanting to work with mom and pop shops - in a weird way he was sometimes very honorable in his toy creation/distribution than most... also the special care and detail he took into creating a toy like he wanted these beanies to be perfect and i can admire that a little bit too
