photogcourt 's review for:
Of Neptune
by Anna Banks
Anna Banks tried to turn this book around from her absolute failure with #2, I think. It still was average, and not really that good, however. The storyline itself was okay, it just fell really short. It built the entire time, and then just ended so abruptly. We now know nothing of what is to come out of the entire point to Of Neptune. A poor oversight by her and her publishers and editors.
So it just ends all of a sudden and goes into an epilogue "one year later." Which, after 3 books the epilogue itself was nothing to sneeze at, it was quite boring, and quite frankly, pretty lame. My remembrance of the first book was that there were a lot of issues with it but overall it was a nice piece of fluff. The next two were poor additions, however. Not impressed.
