Not my favorite Sarah Dessen book, but it was still an enjoyable read. Sarah Dessen has a way of writing real life teenage issues and family dynamics in a way that is very interesting. The plot was slow but there was a lot of character development that kept me interested. I didn't connect with the main characters Anabell and Owen, but I really like the growth of their relationship. The perception that someone's life is perfect because they are a model or a celebrity or just anyone whose life looks wonderful, can be very far from true! The Greene family literally lives in a glass house that looks perfect from the outside, but the family is far from perfect with each member having flaws.
