The Heart Principle by Helen Hoang
5.0
In case you didn’t know Helen Hoang writes the absolute best romances! This one is so real and the writing is phenomenal. My heart breaks for Anna, I could empathize very easily with aspects of her life, especially her relationship with her family. It’s a tough read in those parts because from the outside it’s easy to be yelling at her, “Stand up for yourself!” But being in the situation is completely different. Spoiler: One thing I greatly appreciate is that Anna’s relationship with her sister is never magically repaired. Sibling relationships aren’t ever simple but especially so when the passive sibling has had enough of the dominant sibling. I felt their relationship, deeply. And yes I cried like a baby. I liked Quan, but I am curious if men really are that concerned with what their balls look like? 11/10 recommend
