It is a simple story that made me wish I had a ghost best friend. Unfortunately, I don't. So I am planning to continue my journey with Cass and Jacob.
The majority of the story takes place in Edinburgh, Scotland, with an eerie description of the times gone by with unfriendly ghosts, the danger of treading the Veil, between life and death, was exciting.
A breezy read.
“Embrace your strange, dear daughter. Where’s the fun in being normal?”Also, her mom's strange! I wonder if my mom would ever say such a thing.
