Wow. Backman is such a powerful writer, writing with empathy and nuance, but deliberately prophetic as well. He writes mothers and fathers, young adults, teenagers, all with distinct voices and all being people you would like to get to know. This is a continuation of the Beartown saga, with many of the same characters, but all moulded by the past and growing towards their futures. Highly, highly recommend this book and this series.
