This is wildly different from any other romance book I have ever read. You almost get whiplash from switching between sickly sweet and nauseatingly disgusting within the same scene. Despite that, it still manages to follow along with typical romance tropes and still be funny. The storyline has a limited plot, typical of any romance, and very explicit spicy scenes.

I enjoyed the book for what it was, but can't say I would recommend it to (most) others.
I also was not a fan of the twist. It came out of nowhere randomly to cause drama because the relationship itself had no conflict.
Because of all that, I rate it a 3.

If you can't watch gore in your TV and movies, this book will not be a good fit for you. Read the content warnings and proceed with caution. The book spells those out clearly at the very beginning.
