““Thought I could—I don’t know.” Save her. Those weren’t the right words. Oraya didn’t need to be saved. She just needed a soul beside her on the dark walk to her own potential. Someone to protect her until she was strong enough to save herself.”

A perfect duet. I loved that we got backstories in this one. Oraya, Raihn, and Vincent all felt very well rounded using their memories to give details of their stories.

I looooooooved that we got Raihns POV in this book. God bless. His love for Oraya is palpable.

Overall: perfect low spice vampire duet
