Ughhhh!! How can I stan Abby Jimenez even more??!! Now I messed up by reading “Yours Truly” (obsessed with this book!!) first, but I’m glad I got around to reading “Part of Your World”. This book has all the gaps y’all…age gap, money gap, social gap…all of it and it was an amazing read! My spirit animal is in this book as “Yours Truly” was her story.

Alexis Montogomery was an ER surgeon whose life was far from perfect. She never seemed to be good enough and live up to her father’s high standards and she just got cheated on by her longtime boyfriend that EVERYONE loves. On her way back from her aunts funeral, as her luck would have it, she gets stuck in a ditch in some small town. After calling a tow truck that says it will be over an hour, she gets a knock on her window. There stands a stranger (kinda cute from what she can see) willing to help. Who knew that would be a life changing event for Alexis?

Daniel is just a small town boy and the mayor of this small town when he meets Alexis on the side of the road. When he sees her he’s instantly interested. He helps get her car out of the ditch and then runs into her at the towns diner. They talk and laugh and on a bet, they leave together and start something that may make or break them.

Alexis is almost a decade older than Daniel and she’s rich. She comes from money and lives a life Daniel knows nothing about. Daniel is trying to save his families home but is struggling to do so. How would they work? Would they even get a chance to work? This book was amazing and you MUST read it!

Bonus: Bri Ortiz is me. I love everything about her. She’s hilarious and real! If you don’t fall in love with Bri, I’m not sure how we can be friends
