Bodies in Motion and at Rest: On Metaphor and Mortality
by Thomas Lynch
I love Thomas Lynch’s beautiful writing. He’s a true wordsmith, who glories in meanings and sounds and alliteration, so that his prose flows like poetry at times. He’s occasionally too wordy, but his wry, sly humor, his observations, and his overall genuineness keep me engaged.
