Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

No wonder so many people claim this to be their favourite books. If not for the characters alone it had such a creative world borderline dystopia but more grounded in a realistic world then the factors of a true 'dystopia'.

Although let me not brush over the characters they made up the fabric of the book and the plot wouldn't have been as interesting without the diversity of characters. Each have their own backstory, wants, needs, and personalities. I could go on gushing about it but I have to go read the sequel now. I hope it is as good as this book plus a satisfyingly ending.
