i found this one at times charming and interesting, but i think its greatest quality is its readability. i raced through it for the sake of my reading goal but unfortunately didn’t love it.
this is mostly my fault: i found it on a list called ‘books similar to knives out’, and assumed it was a classy, cozy mystery like the movie.
i personally don’t love comedies, especially ones with Wattpad-style narration, so this book was a bit disappointing.
