#1 book of our book club
To be honest, normally I prefer to force myself to wait until I read the book first before I watch a movie adaptation, but this time, it was a bit different.
I had to read the screenplay first because of professional purposes and strangely I am really glad that I did, the book has an intense complex storyline, makes it really hard to follow the events and the timeline in my opinion.
Although I really liked the little nuances and details which gives the terms of "fate", "luck" and even "purpose of life" a new and fresh look, I don't know that I would understand things more easily if I haven't been read the screenplay first (which had organized the storyline in a more linear way).
