Luckiest Girl Alive
by Jessica Knoll
I liked this book, but I do have to say that I wasn't too impressed for about the first 3/4 of the book. I know. That's a lot that I wasn't impressed with. It touched on some heavy and disturbing material, but I didn't really know where it was going. The MC for the most part just sounded over the top bitchy and annoying. The last quarter of the book, it really took off and completely held my interest and all the pieces came together of why the MC was the way that she was.
A lot of it brought back memories of high school and I just remembered how brutal kids that age can be. I was able to connect with the MC in that way. I couldn't really connect with the adult version of her because she was just so mean.
I wanted to like this book more, but like I said, I wasn't really a fan of a good majority of the book.
