I'll get the deduction out of the way first, I'm not normally someone to hate on HP references (I used to be the opposite), but there really were just too many in this book.
Okay now that aside this book was 🔥🔥🔥 I can absolutely see why it's been banned and challenged so much, and it's absolutely one that NEEDS to be read. I wish I would've read it as a young adult because it would've been wildly eye opening. I also think there are a lot of people who would see themselves in many of the characters.
