I LOVE THE VINDICATION OF BEING RIGHT but also not entirely guessing the plot twists AAAA this was such a good first book of a trilogy and rekindled my enjoyment of ya books. love that there was a colourful ensemble of characters, that there were several plot lines which were each intriguing (perhaps the trials were the weakest plot line since i knew she was going to survive them all by virtue of there being two more books)… and also planted the seeds of the wider political landscape well that i can foresee the conflict of the sequel. SO JUICY CANT WAIT TO START THE GILDED CAGE IMMEDIATELY (scared for kiva and jaren angst tho)
