Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience and Redemption by Laura Hillenbrand

5.0

I almost gave this one four stars instead of five, because the last 1/3 of the book was difficult for me. My grandfather was also a prisoner of war in Japan during World War II, and hearing Zamperini's experiences as a POW constantly made me wonder how similar their experiences were. This is a very interesting book and Zamperini lived a truly remarkable life.
