"Makai" was a pleasant surprise given how unimpressed I've been with this series thus far. Although all of the men have been about their women, and can be kind of... overbearing (some might say controlling), for some reason, it all made sense with Makai. He reminded me a lot of Luca in some ways, even though they're not related.
I definitely felt for him and Glacier after he did what he did. I honestly wouldn't have expected any less from him. But never have I wanted an epilogue more! I had a feeling some ish had transpired, but that ending... I really would have liked a few more pages.
One of the things that I really liked was how quickly the women accepted Glacier into their circle. The way they repeatedly showed up for her was beautiful.
