The Executioner
by Chris Carter
Overview: This is the second book by Chris Carter in the Robert Hunter series. I devoured this book! Oh wow it was so graphic and disgusting and gory and...amazing! The chapters are so short that it makes the book so easy and quick to read. The plot was easy to follow too, unlike some crime thrillers I've read. I didn't see the killer coming, but it wasn't particularly shocking, but that doesn't matter. I loved the journey to get there.
Good points: I think Robert Hunter might be my new book boyfriend. Seriously. I love him. I also love his detective partner, Garcia. They have such a great friendship. Is it bad of me to say that the murders were genius? Like...they were horrific, but I found them fascinating!
Not so good points: I have nothing bad to say about this book.
I'm excited to start the third book soon, The Night Stalker and have asked my sister to buy me the rest of the books (12 in total) for Christmas. The only bad thing is I have to wait 4 months to read them!
