🎧 Not sure I’ll recover from this one any time soon - I’m a broken woman 😢. Do not let the blurb fool you this will bring every emotion to the forefront and then some. It’s a fast paced, thought provoking listen that had me hooked. It really shines a light on tough conversations and makes you consider specific scenarios from a new viewpoint. Some really loveable characters and some I couldn’t bare to listen to without becoming enraged - I’m looking at you Mr Hadid. The author does such a superb job of making you question your values and what you thought they were. It gives the listener a real insight into the Muslim culture. The narration really did add to the story and kept you engaged. This is definitely a must read and one that will stay with me forever.
