I remember getting this book for my birthday, two years ago! I love all things mermaid and I was really excited for this one. I should have researched it because only about 50 pages are the story!! The rest of this book is various short stories.
The rest of the stories were just not that enjoyable. I felt bored a lot of times and just really confused on why some of these were chosen for this book.
The illustrations were amazing. I loved that there’s an interactive part to this book. Throughout it there’s a lot of art or little pop-ups that you can do to break up the stories. It’s really the best part about the book. It’s beautiful but I wish the words were too.
