For Elise by Sarah M. Eden

3.0

I liked this book. I like all of [a:Sarah M. Eden|2515462|Sarah M. Eden|https://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1344983451p2/2515462.jpg]'s books. This one, while good, was not as good as her other regency era books. It was better than the Hope Springs books though.
I liked the characters. I just had a hard time believing the reason Elise decided to leave home - why didn't she go to Beth, or just straight up tell Miles what was wrong. Pretty sure that would have stopped him in his tracks before dismissing her again.
I don't feel an urge to own this one. It makes me sad to say that. Maybe in a few months I'll try reading it again and see if I change my mind.
