King of Scars by Leigh Bardugo

First of all, Nikolai is still my fave Ravkan, I’m so glad he’s still funny and witty. While I wasn’t a fan of ZoyaLai at first, (because i used to ship Nikolai and Alina) I could definitely see them together. And I love a good ole strong independent woman in a book, which Zoya is the epitome of. I didn’t have strong opinions about Zoya is the first few books because, well, she isn’t mentioned that much, and is not the focus. I always thought she’s just jealous and bitter woman, but reading this book made me realize that she is not. That she has deeper wounds that made her thick and strong. And boy, I fell in love with her in this book. While Nina, my all time fave grisha of all, it was hard to read her POV because her grief was so raw, my heart literally aches from seeing it all. But in the end, She’s still the Grisha I admired and aspire to be. And more.
