I loved this! I got super immersed in the story--it's so well written, and even though there's a romantic subplot, it didn't take away from the overall story at all. I loved learning about all the different types of Folk, and I really enjoyed Emily and her scholarly grumpiness. And her brilliance with magic that she learned entirely from just doing research ❤❤❤
