Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus

I wanted to love this, but I just didn’t.

I thought it was a little boring, and I was not a fan of the main character. Or any of the characters for that matter, minus the dog. Always love the dog. The message of the story was lost due to not being able to take her, and many of the other characters, seriously. My biggest gripe was how the two scientist main characters were written. Smart people still have emotions and they’re not all awkward! There were some redeeming qualities of the story, and the importance of what the author is trying to say shouldn’t be lost.

This one didn’t grab me like I had hoped.
