I've got the unpopular opinion on this one. It was a fun read, I'll give it that. I just felt like there were so many unanswered topics on Declan's side that the story fell short for me. Did Mak even know that he comes from humble beginnings? What happened with his dad? What team will he get drafted to?
I'd much prefer a full epilogue to close some topics instead of another sex scene which I skimmed through to get to the end. This was mostly a miss for me.
