Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim by David Sedaris

funny lighthearted reflective relaxing fast-paced

4.0

This was a great collection of essays that captures, of course, the great humor of David Sedaris, but also a good amount of heart. I love the stories about his family the most and this collection was packed full of them. The standout moments, for me, involved his brother Paul, particularly the story about him and his wife having a baby and the Sedaris siblings jockeying for position as favorite aunt or uncle by sending the baby furs. I had only planned to read this one this year but I might have to add a couple more to my summer itinerary, it was so fun and easy.
