rafael and ellie, ellie and rafael, rafael and ellie and nico? best people ever for one of the most beautiful heartbreaking heartwarming book ever ugh!!
this book gave me all the feels and let me tell you the only reason it isn't 5 stars, it's because it's way too big for a romance book, i loved it and when i was reading it didn't really feel
that long and the story wasn't repetitive or even boring or just with unnecessary scenes to be honest but you could tell it was big and it's not that necessary!! but the book was just so fun and then got sad because of both ellie and rafael's struggles but then it go heartwarming again and it was the best! the trip to Hawaii?? was so entertaining ehehe this definitely goes to one of my faves single dad/nanny trope books list haha like right beside irresistible by melanie harlow!
ellie deserves the world, the way she found safety with music and writing music i relate to that a lot, not the part of writing, but safety in music yeah and the way she still battles with her demons after so long, makes her so human and such a strong woman and then still so caring and kind and amazing and sweet and sometimes happy, love that for her, also finally found the one who sees her and respects her and loves her deeply and also nico being her fan number one too, their bond was just so wholesome love it!!
rafael wasn't my fave in the first book, tho his banter with julian was so fun, i wasn't his bigger fan but in his book? he got my respect and love, the things he did for his son? the things he did to protect the ones he cares deeply? he might not always been the best dad or even man, but he learned and he grow and he's the best! that man was down bad for ellie since ever it was so funny, the way he always tried to deny it, sure sir sure i see youuu! at the beginning when he fired ellie, i did get his side, i mean it's his son he deserves to know when he's suffering even when nico doesn't want to really upset his dad again but he needs to know, and ellie not telling him was bad but then i also get ellie, she didn't want to really betray nico's trust in her and their bond was already so good, she didn't really want to mess it up, but rafael then understood in a way and he also missed her a lot soo haha she goes back and they go to Hawaii, that trip was so fun and hot, ellie and rafael's chemistry was so magnificent loved it!!
i really liked julian and dahlia in this one, they were so funny!! but let me go back to rafael and that mouth of his, when he flirted with ellir and ellie with him, it was amazing, he made me giggle and kick my feet in the air like literally made me giggle like a school girl in public in the middle of the train damn!
i loved them, im obsessed with them, loved the romance, loved the way they was there for each other no matte what, loved nico so much that kid is just wonderful!! loved how complexed they really were and still battling their demons and struggles but got stronger every day, a day at the time just being better! go read this book please! and ohhhhhh the next one if going to be a fake fiance/fake marriage with lily and lorenzo??? OMG IM SO ON!! i already really like lily and seeing a little bit more of lorenzo in this book was also really good, so it got me SO EXCITED AAA let's go!
but ellie and rafael and nico might be my faves from this series ehehe for now they truly are!!
