This man is both my calamity and my salvation.
Creighton and Annika's story is quite different to book 1in this series and I quite liked that. Annika has a crush on Crieghton from the moment they meet... it just takes Creighton a little while to see what is in front of him. Yes this is still quite dark - especially with the addition of the mafia element courtesy of Annika's family - but Creighton didn't feel quite as awful as Killian... not that there's a high bar there lol
I am hooked on this series and cannot wait to keep reading!
