4/5 stars - I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about this but wanted to give it a try since I recently finished the first "Dungeon Crawler Karl" (amazing), and was sort of hoping it would have "Innkeeper Chronicles" (Illona Andrews) vibes. While it wasn't quite what I expected, I listened to the audiobook and was sucked in for the whole 24 or so hours (I listen as 2.5x speed). I can't wait to keep listening -- I'm totally invested in this world.
